Yokohama YK580 Tires (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
The Yokohama YK580 boasts an aggressive tread design with an asymmetrical pattern that provides excellent traction on both dry and wet pavement. It also ensures even tread wear and improved tire durability.
The sweeping rain channels, coupled with the cross traction sipes, help in dispersing water more effectively, which drastically improves wet traction. Moreover, the block bridges provide the tire with the support it needs to maintain a quiet and comfortable ride.
The groove ratio is optimized by increasing the tread area to 9%. Further, the uni-block shoulder provides the tire with an adequate stiffness level to the outer shoulders and sidewalls.
The nylon-wrapped dual steel belts give the tire the strength it needs while also maintaining an even treadwear. Additionally, the tire’s steering responsiveness is outstanding, and it provides a smooth ride overall.
The tire is available in a wide variety of sizes and models, with sizes that range from 15 inches all the way up to 20 inches. It also comes in H, V, and W speed ratings.

- Great performance on wet and dry roads

Paul D. says: “I’ve never seen a tire this quiet before, which is probably the most important thing about a tire in my book. I can literally sleep in my Golf and not feel a thing. The performance is simply nothing short of impressive.”

Evan M. says: “This tire’s traction is simply insane! It rains a lot where I live, and I never thought I would ever be this satisfied with an all-season tire. I can now confidently drive on highways even when it’s raining heavily.”
