SUMITOMO HTR A/S P02 Tires (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
With wider shoulder blocks with notches, the asymmetric tread pattern helps to enhance the cornering and stability on dry roads. If you are worried about grip on wet and snow covered road surfaces, don’t be. The A silica all-season tread compound helps put you at ease as that is exactly what it is designed to prevent.
For added traction in other inclement weather such as wet roads, Sumitomo has specifically designed the tire’s center rib and deeper circumferential grooves so that they combine with lateral grooves to decrease the chances of hydroplaning.
Wound in a spiral pattern, the jointless nylon bands that reinforce the dual steel belts inside the tires, have been engineered to increase your vehicles performance at high speeds while still providing a comfortable ride. To add to your handling pleasure, these tires have a high-tensile polyester casing.
One of the things we like most about this tire is the vast range of available sizes for this model varying from 15-20 inches and depending on your speed rating; Sumitomo has included a 65000 mile warranty.
