Sentury Tire Overall Assessment

Sentury tires have become more popular in recent years, specifically for the motorist that is looking to purchase tires on a budget but is not prepared to compromise on the quality.

sentury tire reviews

The majority of their products are in the low-mid range but often compete with, and even outperform tires that are more expensive and well-known.

This “more bang for your buck” approach extends to their sub brands, all of which are dedicated to producing purpose built, high-utility tires that won’t break the bank.

Sentury focuses mainly on tires for sedans, SUVs, minivans, and crossovers. Their sub-brands are where they extend their range to cater to different parts of the automotive market. They produce tires for a wide range of vehicle-types that can perform in a variety conditions on different terrain.

Quality

Sentury produces tires that can be considered of good quality. Their tires are reliable. And have a high degree of functionality.

When the price point comes into consideration, their range of tires really surpasses all expectations when it comes to overall quality and this makes the tire a lot more enticing that its more expensive rivals.

Price

One of the most attractive aspects of Sentury tires is their price. A full set of new passenger car radials can set up back as little as $600.

Despite their price, Sentury tires offer the budget driver greater mobility and steering response. This is something that is often not the case when it comes to tires in this price range. If you are looking for an inexpensive option for your next set of tires, Sentury is well worth a consideration.

Range

Century and their sub-brands cover the full spectrum when it comes to tire choice.

Sentury focuses on tires specifically for sedans, minivans, SUV’s, and crossovers, while its sub-brands focus on producing slightly more specialised offerings.

One is generally weary of the “multi-purpose” moniker when it comes to budget tires. Sentury, however, flies this flag strongly as its tires perform well in varying weather conditions and terrain.

Handling

For the price range, it is difficult to produce a tire that is sophisticated enough to have multiple features that improve performance.

Sentury incorporates the use of a high-performance tread compound along with asymmetric tread patterns. In addition, a large shoulder block is also included in their tire designs.

The net result are tires that are responsive, handle well overall – even when cornering at high speeds, and offer great comfort for their price tag.

Sentury Tires Customer Reviews

Brian says: “I replaced the stock tires on my 2014 VW Passat with the Sentury Touring tire. I have done around 5000 miles and am pleased with the results. The tires have handled smoothly and been responsive in different conditions. The profile look of my car looks good and it has handled terrifically.”

Nino says: “I have used Sentury on a previous vehicle and was happy enough with them that I decided to try the Sentury UHP on my Mazda 3 which uses low profile tires on 18″ wheels. Firstly, when they pulled up the car I was impressed by the look of these tires – not bad for budgets. I have since driven around 100 miles and quite frankly, I am impressed. I enjoy driving but don’t push the car to its limits on public roads and so far I have nothing bad to say about these tires. They are quieter than the more expensive tires I had on my car previously and the car feels even more planted. The Sentury tires I used on another car did not wear prematurely, but I have high hopes for the UHP’s. If they hold up, it’ll be converted to the Sentury for every purchase unless I get that Porsche one day…”
