The Premier A/S is one of those tires that help set the standard for what all-season tires should aspire to be, which is a common theme amongst a lot of Michelin tires.
The Premier A/S was designed to replace the popular Primacy MXV4, which is one of the most impressive Michelin tires to date. So how exactly is it going to out-perform a top performer? We attempt to find out in this Michelin Premier A/S review, so stick around.

Michelin Premier A/S (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
Like a lot of the latest tires, the Michelin Premier A/S utilizes sunflower oil and silica content in its tread compound. Couple that with Michelin’s EverGrip technology and you get outstanding traction on dry and wet pavement as well as improved treadwear.
The EverGrip technology also helps the tire maintain its traction even as the tread begins to wear by expanding the circumferential grooves. As the tread wears, new grooves appear to replace the worn-out ones.
The Premier A/S also employs unique siping around the tread, which grants it numerous biting edges for improved traction in the snow and on the ice.
The Michelin Premier A/S isn’t a perfect tire, though. The imperfections have nothing to do with performance and more to do with the fact that its tread warranty is quite subpar considering the steep price point.

Michelin Premier A/S Customer Review
Bradley T. says: “The Premier A/S might be expensive, but it offers a ton of value that justifies its steep price tag, in my opinion, at least. Handling and braking are off the roof with this tire. It’s reliable on dry and wet surfaces alike. It also performs adequately on snowy surfaces.”
Bradley T. posted (5 / 5) review
Maria R. says: “Costly but worth every penny. I’m in love with this tire. I had to shell out a considerable amount of money for it, but I’m glad I did because it’s the smoothest and most comfortable tire I’ve tried so far.”
