Michelin Latitude Tour (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
The Latitude Tour is equipped with a silica-infused tread compound that delivers great traction on dry and wet pavement alike. It also utilizes some of the latest technologies from Michelin like MaxTouch Construction and Green X to reduce the rolling resistance for greater fuel efficiency.
The tire features a continuous center rib that, coupled with rounded shoulder blocks, promotes superior cornering grip and excellent steering response. There are circumferential grooves and added siping around the tread for eliminating the risk of hydroplaning and improving traction on wet terrain.
The tire also performs adequately in light snow. We wouldn’t recommend using it in deep snow, though, as it’s not a winter tire. The tread’s pattern is acoustically optimized to ensure reduced road noise and great ride quality.
Pros:
- Highly responsive and direct steering
- Reliable traction on dry and wet terrain
- Comfortable and quiet ride experience
- Displays remarkable highway stability
Cons:
- Performance in the snow can be better
- Not the most budget-friendly option

Michelin Latitude Tour Tire Customer Review
Wesley D. says: “You just can’t go wrong with a set of Michelin tires. Yes, their tires are comparatively expensive, but you just feel confident buying them because you know they’ll offer you your money’s worth. The Latitude Tour is a great example. It’s dependable in terms of traction, handling, stability, and cornering. It could use some improvements in the snow, but it still performs very adequately.”
