Kenda Klever A/T (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
The Kenda Klever A/T is one of the most reasonably priced tires in its class, which might result in people dismissing it, thinking it’s a cheap tire. Don’t make that mistake, as this is one of the most impressive all-terrain tires you can get today if you’re a budget-minded consumer.
This tire is capable enough to have you treading any terrain you like, from gravel and mud to grass and wet pavements. It also displays excellent on-road behavior, especially on highways. The vast majority of all-terrain tires tend to fall short when it comes to their performance in the snow, but not the Klever A/T. This tire can tread acres of snow without any problems, thanks to its superior traction.
We’re making it sound as if the Klever A/T is a fault-free tire, but that’s not the case. It’s not faulty, per se, but it could use some improvements in certain areas, primarily when it comes to tread life. The tire’s tread life is ample, but depending on your driving style, it might not last as long as you’d like it to. Another issue is road noise, but it’s not very prominent.
Pros:
- Great traction in any sort of terrain, be it dry or wet
- Very reasonably priced considering its capabilities
- Can handle snowy and icy terrain with utter grace
- Flaunts excellent braking and cornering capabilities
Cons:
- Tread life may disappoint wild drivers
- In-vehicle road noise can use some improvements
