Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
The Ventus S1 Noble2 utilizes one of Hankook’s proprietary hybrid compounds to deliver a mix between touring and high-performance capabilities. The tread is also infused with silica to boost traction on dry and wet terrain. It also helps improve tread life, reduce noise, and deliver reliable performance on snowy surfaces.
The tread features a semi-rib asymmetric pattern and integrates excellent pitch arrangement to ensure minimal road noise. The Ventus S1 Noble2 utilizes a stiff filler and ultra-wide steel belts to ensure durability as well as optimal grip and traction.
Further, this tire uses a state-of-the-art aqua hydro block design that improves braking on wet surfaces as well as the overall handling and steering capabilities. Additionally, there’s a straight rib block that boosts the tire’s cornering capabilities and helps reduce road noise significantly.
Internally, the tire features 3D kerfs that help maximize the tire’s stability on dry pavement and provide more reliable braking, handling, and acceleration. The tread’s edges are reinforced with tie bars to ensure block stiffness.
