Hankook is a South Korean tire manufacturer known for offering high-quality tires at affordable prices, and the Hankook Optimo H725 is no exception.
In our Hankook Optimo H724 review, we take a closer look at this tire to see how it fairs, so make sure that you don’t miss it out. Let’s get into it!
Hankook Optimo H724 Tires (Our Review)
The Hankook Optimo H724 boasts an all-season tread compound, which, coupled with the continuous center rib, provides the tire with tremendous grip on dry and wet roads alike.
It’s also worth mentioning that the Optimo H724 handles cornering quite well, thanks to its rounded shoulders and deep grooves. Additionally, the tire has 4 circumferential grooves, which drastically improves the tire’s water dispersion.
It’s also equipped with biting edges that allow the tire to maintain its grip on light snow. Another area where the Optimo H740 shines is steering responsiveness. The tire provides a smooth ride thanks to its high-strength steel belts and shock-absorption properties. It’s also pretty quiet, even on rough roads.
When it comes to longevity, the tire is designed in a way that ensures even treadwear to extend its lifespan, but it’s not on par with tire models from more premium manufacturers. You do get a 70K-mile warranty on the tread, which is quite nice to have.
- Excellent cornering performance

Steven P. says: “This tire blows everything else out of the water when it comes to cornering performance, and this is definitely a big plus in my book. For me, a tire is all about how it handles sharp corners and maintains my Civic’s stability on the highway. I’ve also driven with them in the rain a few times, and I haven’t noticed any traction problems. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with my purchase; the people at Hankook seem like they know what they’re doing.”Steven P. posted (5 / 5) review
