Goodyear Wrangler MTR (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
The Wrangler MTR isn’t your ordinary off-road tire. This is a mean and aggressive tank of a tire that’s looking to obliterate anything that stands in its way. Whether you drive it on gravel, rocks, sand, snow, ice, or grass, this tire will perform adequately.
The Wrangler MTR is equipped with a silica-fused tread compound that flaunts an asymmetric pattern that ensures superior traction on and off the road. Like we already mentioned, the tire’s sidewall is equipped with a layer of Dupont Kevlar for maximum durability. The tire is so sturdy that no bruises or cuts can phase it.
The tire also sports Goodyear’s mud-flow geometry design, ensuring that no mud or other unwanted elements get inside the tread, ruining its aesthetic. The tire is pretty comfortable and stable, but it tends to get noisy at higher speeds, which is our only problem with it, aside from its super steep yet justifiable price tag.

Goodyear Wrangler MTR with Kevlar Tire Customer Review
William B. says: “I hate spending too much money on tires because I’m not that spirited of a driver anyway, but I’ve been struggling to find a tire that can handle the beaten roads around where I live, and a friend recommended that I try the Wrangler MTR. At first, I was thrown off by the cost, but I went for it anyway because my friend swore by this tire, and I’m glad I did because this is the best tire I’ve ever used for my GMC Yukon.”

Aside from being a little noisy at higher speeds, this tire excels in virtually all departments. High stability? Check. Responsive steering? Check, Reliable traction? Check. Comfortable ride? Check. This tire can do it all.”
