There’s no denying the fact that there are plenty of excellent all-terrain tires on the market, but the Falken Wildpeak AT3W is a completely different beast. This tire delivers exceptional hybrid performance at a pretty competitive price tag that makes it on par with other tires in the same class.
The Falken Wildpeak AT3W is far from a one-dimensional all-terrain tire, as it features a lot of qualities that can only be found in highway tires, which is why we consider it a hybrid tire.
In this review, we shed light on everything you need to know about the tire, so be sure to stick around.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
The Falken Wildpeak AT3W is designed with an obvious intent to avoid all compromises. The tire features an outer apex sidewall that ensures long-lasting performance and high resistance to punctures and damage. The sidewall also doubles as a layer of protection against extreme heat, which comes in handy when it’s time for highway driving.
Upon closer inspection, you’ll notice a host of heat diffusers on the edges of the apex sidewall. The purpose of these diffusers is to keep the tire cool when driving on sun-scorched pavement, which, in turn, ensures high stability. The tire’s overall construction is durable enough to handle intensive towing and heavier loads.
The tread on the Wildpeak AT3W is nothing short of impressive. It’s one of the deepest treads we’ve ever seen on an all-terrain tire. If you look a bit closer, you’ll notice a host of rigid tread blocks that are accentuated with support ramps to ensure reliable handling and grip when the tread wears down. These design elements also aid in ejecting stone.
The tread compound is infused with silica content for consistent traction on dry and wet roads. The traction is also improved with the aid of an aggressive upper sidewall.
The only problem we have with this tire is that it’s incapable of navigating soft and loose terrain as efficiently as it navigates beaten roads that are full of rocks and gravel, so be sure not to go over loose sand or softer mud with this tire.
Pros:
- Excellent on and off-road performance
- Navigates dry and wet terrain with ease
- Extremely durable tread construction
- Can easily navigate ice and snow
Cons:
- Doesn’t navigate softer terrain that well

Falken Wildpeak AT3W Tire Customer Review
Josh B. says: “Falken is one of the few tire brands that nail the hammer on the head when it comes to offering superior quality at a cost-effective price tag, and the Wildpeak A/TW3 is an excellent example of that. This tire excels in almost all categories, from traction and stability to comfort. However, you should consider a different tire if you’re looking for optimal traction on softer, more loose terrain.”

Gilbert T. says: “I’ve been using the Wildpeak A/TW3 for my Tundra for over a year now, and it’s treading just as fluidly as it has been the first day I got it. I don’t know about winter traction because it’s sunny all the time here, but as far as dry and wet traction, this tire performs very nicely”
