Cooper Discoverer STT Pro (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
Aggressive, powerful, and highly durable, the Discoverer STT Pro is a force to be reckoned with in the market of off-road tires. This exceptional tire flaunts a carbon black tread compound that’s equipped with advanced silica content and incorporates Armor-Tek3 protection to deliver an astounding off-road performance that can navigate all sorts of beaten terrain with ease.
Compared to conventional 2-ply off-road tires, the STT Pro’s 3-ply construction offers 50% more durability. In addition to the above-mentioned components, the tire incorporates sturdy sidebiters on its outer sidewalls, ensuring optimal traction on virtually all types of terrain.
The vast majority of off-road tires that are intended to tackle dirt, sand, rock, debris, and so forth tend to fall short when it’s time to drive over muddy terrain, but not the STT Pro. This incredible tire was designed to navigate literally all sorts of terrain, including mud.
The tire sports very aggressive aesthetics, which will lead you to think that’s pretty noisy on dry pavement. Surprisingly enough, the STT Pro is far from noisy, at least when compared to some of its similarly aggressive-looking competitors. There are zero flaws with this tire, simply put.
