Cooper is one of the very few tire brands that understand how to offer exceptional performance at reasonable price points, and the Cooper ATW is a prime example of that.
This hybrid tire strikes an excellent balance between reliable all-terrain performance and winter traction, thanks to Cooper’s proprietary SnowGroove 2.0 technology.
In this Cooper ATW review, we break down the different aspects that make this tire special, so you might want to stick around for a bit.

Cooper ATW (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
Equipped with an advanced silica-infused tread compound, the Cooper ATW is able to deliver reliable levels of traction in all weather conditions, whether it’s freezing cold or scorching hot.
Cooper’s SnowGroove 2.0 technology comes in the form of unique siping that helps the ATW maintain superior traction in snowy and icy terrain. The tire also features large lateral grooves that eliminate the risk of hydroplaning for uncompromised wet traction.
Cooper has put a considerable deal of time and effort into keeping this tire’s road noise at bay with the aid of an optimized pitch sequence. We wouldn’t say that this is the quietest all-terrain tire we’ve seen, but it’s pretty decent for what it is. Road noise is distributed evenly across the tire’s construction so that it’s not focused in one region, which can be quite fatiguing.

Cooper ATW Tire Customer Review
Hugh R. says: “The Cooper ATW is surprisingly comfortable and quiet for an all-terrain tire. I guess this has to do with it being some kind of a hybrid tire, but that’s neither here nor there. Overall, I’m pleased with the tire’s performance on and off the road. It also performs very well in the snow.”

Wyatt L. says: “At first, I thought the Cooper ATW was a little expensive for what it is. However, after a couple of months of using this tire, I can wholeheartedly say that it’s one of the best all-terrain tires I’ve tried, mainly because of how comfortable and smooth it drives. Highly recommended.”
