The Cooper CS3 incorporates many of the latest tire technologies from Cooper like StabilEdge technology, which helps improve its steering, cornering, and handling capabilities. It also flaunts greater stability than the old GLS throughout a vast speed range.
The C3 is currently one of Cooper’s most popular tires alongside the CS5 Grand Touring, but does it really live up to the hype? Stick around to find out.

Cooper CS3 Touring (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
We can certainly see the appeal behind the Cooper CS3. For starters, the tire’s wider footprint delivers impeccable handling and traction on dry terrain. Further, the 3D Micro-Gauge Siping technology from Cooper, coupled with the four circumferential grooves, helps deliver a great performance on wet and snowy surfaces as well.
Now, a lot of non-winter tires claim to have superior performance in snow and ice, but most of them fail to back up their claims. The Cooper CS3, on the other hand, is one of the very few touring tires that actually excel in snowy and icy pavements.
The feel and steering response while driving a car equipped with a set of CS3s is nothing short of impressive. You just feel extremely comfortable and confident with this tire backing you up. To add, it’s very stable throughout the entire speed range.
The only issue we have with this tire is the softer sidewall, limiting the tire’s cornering. This is understandable considering it’s a touring tire, not a high-performance tire, but it’s worth pointing out, nevertheless.

Prices
We expected the Cooper CS3 to have a fairly steep price tag, but to our surprise, the tire is priced very reasonably, starting at around $81. You can knock off a few dollars of the price if you can manage to find special offers like discounts and rebates on this tire.
Keep in mind that the prices of tires vary from one dealer to another. Also, they vary depending on the size and specs you choose.
Warranty
The Cooper CS3 is backed by a sweet 65,000-mile tread warranty for the T-rated models and a 50,000-mile warranty for the H and V-rated models. Uniformity is covered for the first 2/32 inch of wear. Further, the Cooper CS3’s workmanship and materials are warranted for up to 5 years.
Cooper also offers a 45-day road test guarantee to ensure consumer satisfaction. If you’re not completely satisfied with the tire, Cooper will replace the tire with another model.

Cooper CS3 Touring Tire Customer Review
William K. says: “I’m not that spirited of a driver, so I don’t really expect much from a tire aside from a pleasant driving experience, but boy did this tire blow me away in every possible aspect. It’s very quiet and comfortable, extremely stable, and I can drive it in the snow without any problems. Superb tire, overall.”

Adrian B. says: “This tire is perfect for my 2018 Altima. It’s comfortable, first and foremost, and I barely hear any road noise, which is a huge plus in my book. And surprisingly, this tire performs very well on icy and snowy pavements. Didn’t really see that coming.”
