Cooper Adventurer Tour Overall Assessment
This tire is exclusively sold by Pep Boys and shares many similarities with Cooper AT3, RTX or Mastercraft AXT. This is because Cooper has 5-6 variations of the AT3 produced for a number of distributors. This speaks to the quality and popularity of the design which has several positives.
The tire has great traction and handling whether there is rain or sun. Performance is solid when taken light off-roading and this is due to the rugged, high-tech cut and chip resistant tread compound and 5-rib tread pattern with lateral grooves. The ride is quiet and comfortable and good for a tire that performs as this one does off-road.
The tire does struggle a little when faced with heavy rock formations or deep mud as it is an all-terrain tire, but this is not a major drawback. In addition, the price may be slightly out of some people’s brackets. Check out other types of tire we covered in our various reviews such as Cooper CS3 Touring Review as well as Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring Review.
In general, the Cooper Adventurer Tour is a tire that ranks in the upper half of its class and combines many elements you would like to see from a tire.

Cooper Adventurer Tour Tire Customer Review
Mike says: “I bought a set of 31.5x 10.5×15 for a first gen Tacoma. I have had the tires for three years and have done 40,000 miles on them. The ride is smooth and quiet, and I still have plenty of tread left. My vehicle is lighter than some, but I have no complaints about these tires. This is a very good all-round tire.”

Rick says: “Great price for these American made tires. The tread is deep and beefy and these tires are quieter than one may expect. They suited my Expedition well and really added to its look. Recommended to me by a friend who got about 65k miles out of his on a Silverado.”
