Continental CrossContact LX20 Tires (Our Review)
Overall Assessment
Due to enhanced innovation techniques, Continental has produced an eco friendly tread compound which utilizes specially developed +Silane additives and Tg-F polymers to enhance traction and provide better overall tread wear.
Continental has added four circumferential grooves to a symmetrical tread design and unique traction grooves to improve wet road traction. These exclusive grooves are placed around the tread to produce reduced road noise and increase ride quality. Consider reading our Review Continental ExtremeContact DWS06
Added to that, the tires continuous center rib and independent tread blocks provide better grip on dry road surfaces while increasing overall steering response at the same time. Two steel belts that are reinforced with spirally wrapped polyamide will be found on the inside of the tire to add strength and stability.
Having said this, larger sizes of the tire come stock with a flanged lower sidewall which will ultimately protect new rims against unwanted damage. As a result, the latest technology used in the CrossContact LX20’s provide drivers with fuel efficient tires that reduce emissions of their vehicle.

Customer Reviews
Emilio says: “I really don’t understand the lower than 5 star ratings! I’ve had them for 5 years and they still have 7/32! they are now discontinued and i’m having 4 sent from Vancouver to Montreal to be sure I have them next year! They are on my Yukon XL and I recommend them to everyone! I absolutely love them!”
Emilio posted (5 / 5) review
Mike says: “We purchased a new 2018 Traverse with these tires, now have 55,000 miles on them. There is still good tread on them, quiet and rides smooth. I have tires rotated and keep proper pressure, and will purchase a new set in spring.”
