BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 Tires (Our Review)

Overall Assessment

BFGoodrich uses a sidewall rubber compound that is twice as thick and immensely tougher than previous versions. The tire is infused with two steel belts which are reinforced with nylon for a much stronger overall product.

Along with this, the tire includes the company’s polyester cord sidewall ply construction known as Tri-Gard which is extremely tough and durable. The All Terrain T/A KO2s deliver 10% more traction when driven on mud and 19% more traction on snow when compared to the previous version.

The tire is also equipped with side biter lugs that improve traction for driving through snow and mud while increasing rock climbing traction. The design is racing inspired with durability and long wear life being an integral part of these tires. The compound is molded through computer optimized techniques which provide an interlocking tread block for all terrain patterns.

These tread designs allow for improved traction in wet or icy weather conditions. Unique locking 3D sipes around the tread produces more biting edges that grip better in the snow which is another key feature on these tires. BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 Tires Customer Reviews

Robert says: “Great tire, was very surprised at how quiet the tires are when on the pavement. I purchased these to replace the original factory-installed, I have used these off-road several times and find the handling very good. I was concerned about the warning that the tires were not rated for my vehicle and could impact the ride. I find they are a little bouncy when compared to the OEM tires but very manageable. The tires arrived after the snow & mud season but I am confident they will perform well.”

Robert posted 5 out of 5 stars (5 / 5) review

Andrew says: “I love the way these tires look with my new wheels. It gives my Jeep a more aggressive look which is exactly what I wanted. The ride is comfortable, you can definitely feel the bumps in the road, but that was expected. You can hear the tires with the windows down on the pavement but again, this was expected and something that doesn’t bother me. I love my tires and would buy them again and recommend them to others!”
